18 months after the previous release, the ODCA is excited to present an updated version of the Direct Current Microgrid system description, following a thorough and dedicated review by our maintenance team.

This update brings several important improvements and refinements:

1. Aligning the nominal voltage to 700 V DC for industrial systems. In-line with soon-to-be published IEC standard 60038 and the Current/OS foundation.
2. Reflecting changes in standardization for overvoltage protection (chapters 5.8 and 11.4.6)
3. Correction in the figure for DC-side grounded system. The midpoint conductor M is not distributed (figure 7.6)
4. Along with some editorial changes for error correction and better readability. A comprehensive list of the changes is available in annex G.2.
