Plenary Meeting at KUKA in Augsburg

At the end of February, we had our plenary meeting at the KUKA headquarters in Augsburg. Our agenda was packed with 7 workshop sessions. We covered a wide range of topics in our working groups - Use Cases, Communications, Technology, Research and Partner Management.
Each session was a deep dive into the future of DC, driven by the collective wisdom and expertise of our participants.

We also took a real-life look at the potential of DC technology at the KUKA SmartProduction Centre, a flexible matrix solution based on DC technology.

The whole event was rounded off with presentations by TU Ilmenau on the research project HybSchaDC, in which fast switching hybrid DC switches are being investigated, and by DEP- direct energy partners on their planning software for DC microgrids.

A big thank you to the 110+ participants for their fantastic contributions and collaboration, and a special thank you to KUKA and the team for their friendly welcome and great hospitality. Now it's a matter of taking all the input from the workshops into our working groups. We are very excited to see what we will be able to achieve by the next plenary meeting in October.
