YouTube
This website embeds videos from our YouTube channel. YouTube is a service of Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
We use YouTube in extended data protection mode, so that YouTube does not store any information about visitors to this website before they have activated the video separately. Thus, YouTube - regardless of whether you watch a video - establishes a connection to the Google DoubleClick network. A separate cookie is set for this purpose, provided that you have consented to this.
You can find more information about data protection at YouTube in their privacy policy at: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en
Links to our social media pages
On our website you will find links to the social media services of Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube.
You can recognize links to the websites of the social media services by the respective company logo. If you follow these links, you will reach the ZVEI website on the respective social media service. When you click on a link to a social media service, a connection is established to the servers of the social media service. This transmits to the servers of the social media service that you have visited our website. In addition, further data is transmitted to the provider of the social media service. These are, for example:
If you are already logged in to the corresponding social media service at the time the link is activated, the provider of the social media service may be able to determine your user name and possibly even your real name from the transmitted data and assign this information to your personal user account with the social media service. You can exclude this possibility of assignment to your personal user account if you log out of your user account beforehand.
The servers of the social media services Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube are located in the USA and other countries outside the European Union. The data may therefore also be processed by the provider of the social media service in countries outside the European Union.
Please note that companies in these countries are subject to data protection laws that do not generally protect personal data to the same extent as they do in the member states of the European Union. Please note that we have no influence on the scope, type and purpose of the data processing by the provider of the social media service. For more information on the use of your data by the social media services integrated on our website, please refer to the privacy policy of the respective social media service.
Embedded YouTube videos
On some of our websites we embed YouTube videos.
As soon as you start a YouTube video on the website, a connection to YouTube's servers is established. This tells the YouTube server which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to assign your surfing behavior directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.
Furthermore, YouTube can save various cookies on your end device after starting a video. With the help of these cookies, YouTube can obtain information about visitors to this website. This information is used, among other things, to collect video statistics, improve the user experience and prevent fraud attempts. Cookies remain on your terminal device until you delete them.
If necessary, further data processing operations may be triggered after the start of a YouTube video, over which we have no control.
YouTube is used in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offers. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. If a corresponding consent was requested, the processing is based exclusively on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO; the consent can be revoked at any time.
For more information about data protection at YouTube, please see their privacy policy at: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en.

We would like to point out that when using these social networks, the respective providers also have access to your data. This data can be used for market research and advertising purposes. We have no further knowledge of the data processing by the providers of the relevant social platforms.
The processing of personal data of visitors to our online presence is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO (legitimate interest). Our legitimate interest lies in ensuring communication with our customers and informing them about news related to our products.
Insofar as data is processed outside the EU/EEA and there is no level of data protection corresponding to the European standard, we have concluded EU standard contractual clauses with the service provider to establish an appropriate level of data protection. In addition, further protective measures (e.g., encryption and additional contractual provisions) are taken - where necessary - to ensure an adequate level of protection for your personal data.
You can access the EU standard contractual clauses used via the URL https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/?uri=CELEX%3A32010D0087.
For a comprehensive representation of the respective data processing and opt-out possibilities we refer to the following pages of the providers:
The data provided to us by the social media network operators is processed by us in the social media management software "Hootsuite", HootSuite Media Inc, 37 Dunlevy Ave, Vancouver, BC, Canada V6A 3A3. Your personal data is transmitted securely by encryption. This applies to the login and use of the portal. We use the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) coding system. No one can guarantee absolute protection. However, we protect our websites and other systems by technical and organizational measures against loss, destruction, access, modification or distribution of your data by unauthorized persons.

This site uses the open source mapping tool "OpenStreetMap" (OSM) via an API. The servers are located in the Netherlands and in the UK (there is an adequacy decision of the EU Commission on this). We as the provider of the site have no influence on this data transmission. The use of OpenStreetMap is in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offers and an easy location of the places indicated by us on the website. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.
