Hanover Fair 2023 | New industrial building with a smart DC network

A new building for the manufacturing solutions unit and other production-related units is currently being built at the headquarters of the Phoenix Contact GmbH & Co. KG. A DC grid will be set up in this building in order to test components for DC applications and to evaluate the advantages of DC technology in practice. In this lecture, the entire energy concept of the building, including the DC grid, will be presented and the planned focus of the investigations in this grid will be shown.
