In order to implement direct current (DC) in applications, not only are standards and products required, but also individuals who can plan DC systems.
Therefore, the Open Direct Current Alliance (ODCA) and Weidmüller cordially invite you to the workshop "Your Path to the DC World," where you will have the opportunity to share your experiences with DC and your expectations of the ODCA.
The workshop is aimed at both DC novices and those who already have experience with DC projects.
Why direct current?
- Higher efficiency: Transmission results in lower line losses, especially over longer distances.
- Integration of renewable energies: Photovoltaic systems, battery storage systems, and many modern consumers already operate with direct current. DC grids can reduce conversion losses.
- Flexibility and compatibility: Electric mobility, storage solutions, and modern industrial plants rely on DC technologies.
- Sustainability: Less energy loss means lower resource consumption and an important contribution to climate protection.
Why it is important for specialists for planning and installation
- Opening up new markets: There is growing demand for direct current projects in buildings, neighborhoods, industrial parks, and infrastructure.
- Competitive advantage: Companies that have qualified specialists for DC technologies can implement innovative projects and clearly stand out from their competitors.
- Future-proofing: With the growing importance of direct current, there is also an increasing demand for experts who are proficient in planning, installation, and operation.
