Manager Direct Current Technology (f/m/d)
Your role
- Expanding and organising the Open DC Alliance (ODCA) working group on the transformation of energy grids into smart DC grids
- Representing the interests of ODCA members at national and international level vis-à-vis political, social and economic decision-makers
- Developing position statements on DC with experts
- Designing and carrying out lobbying and public relations activities to promote DC technologies in areas such as energy and resource efficiency, electrification, resilience, automation, digitalisation and standardisation
- Maintaining and expanding the network and recruiting new members
- Organising and moderating specialist events and working groups to promote knowledge transfer and standardisation work in the field of DC technology
Your profile
- University degree and interest in technology and innovative solutions
- Professional experience in project management, preferably in an association, a political institution, a research institute or a company
- Knowledge of the industrial or energy supply sector and proven experience in building and maintaining networks
- Analytical, organisational and communication skills
- Initial experience in marketing and public relations and basic knowledge of standardisation desirable
- Independent and committed working style with flexibility and willingness to travel
- Fluent in German and English
