Project Overview

The Nieuw Reijerwaard installation features a bipolar 350/700V DC microgrid powering public lighting with improved efficiency and reliability. A DC container integrates MPPT converters, second-life batteries, BMS controllers, a balancing converter, and bidirectional storage converters, ensuring optimized energy flow. Solid-state protection safeguards the system, while a balancing converter maintains stability. This setup enables solar-powered lighting, reducing reliance on the overloaded AC grid.
