One of the most important target variables in the development of a fan is efficiency. Therefore, we consistently pursue the use of electrically commutated synchronous machines with the highest efficiency. 
A significant source of loss in the drive is the rectification of the AC voltage on the mains side. Therefore, we see great potential in the use of DC mains to reduce the carbon footprint of our products and thus offer our customers added value. 
We see our contribution to the ODCA in the following points: 

• Contributing our experience in the field of DC technology, especially with regard to overvoltage / overcurrent protection devices, insulation systems, insulation coordination. 
• Construction and provision of DC-based fans for possible use cases
